Pawsh Donates Portion of Proceeds this Holiday Season to the MSPCA

Boston Globe coverage of our holiday promotion with MSPCA...CLICK HERE. More info below.

For every holiday-themed toy, dog coat and gift card sold at Pawsh Dog Boutique through the end of the year, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) – Angell.

Our store is fully stocked with an assortment of holiday gifts, including singing Santas, squeaking snowmen, and rattling dreidels. Pups can also get in the holiday spirit with blinking reindeer antlers, elf ears and dog Santa hats available at Pawsh. For those who cannot decide on the perfect pooch present, gift cards are also available.

Bay Colony Dog Show - December 4 - 7

The BAY COLONY DOG SHOW is coming back to the Bayside Expo Center from Thursday, December 4th through Sunday, December 7th. Nancy and I went last year sans Balki (you can't bring your dogs into the show...I guess it would be too crazy) and had a great time watching handlers show their pure breeds off in the ring and maneuvering through the obstacle courses. 150 different AKC breeds will be judged for Best in Breed and Best in Show. It's definitely worth checking out if you have a dog, want a dog or just observe some very dedicated people and their canine companions.

Dog Park coming to the Boston Common?

The Boston Globe ran an article today stating that city officials (including Mayor Menino) are proposing that a dog park be erected at the corner of Charles and Beacon streets. Many dogs owners already let their pooches run free in that area but a fenced in space would be great for dogs who like to chase squirrels off into the distance (ie: Balki). This may be just the beginning of the planning but I hope it comes to fruition sooner than later!
